Can I get some feedback or advice on how to bill A9592 Copper cu-64, dotatate, diagnositic, 1 millicurie?

Our clinic has started doing exams and this is the drug code they are using.   So far all I'm getting is denials on the drug code.  

Does this need the JZ modifier?  Or any other information about reimbursement is appreciated.  Thank you

Hi Hulah,

We also struggled with this code. It is contractor priced for Medicare so for Medicare follow your local MAC guidance. For commercial payers, prior authorization is usually required. What are the denials you are seeing? Happy to connect!
