    Good morning all,

We recently had an ACR audit, and historically, we aligned our program with the hospital's.  Now that we are distinctly operating differently, we need one more in-line with our INDEPENDENT facility/practice.  Rather than re-creating the wheel, I thought I'd ask all of you if you have one you can share that we can adopt/modify for our practice patterns.  Feel free to email me directly @ hrady@ridgewoodradiology.com

    Thank you in advance,

    Heather

Heather - I am happy to chat with you about this. Far too much for email.   Start with your State Department of Health.  You will want to protect his information from discovery, and in our State we had to create a CQIP and file with the state.   A lot of the pacs systems have a peer review/learn program that is easy for the radiologists to use since directly ties to the images, however, we found the randomization of the cases isn't great.  Further then you are giving the pacs admin the ability to see the agree/disagree data, and that is problematic.   The hospitals have a separate peer review process, we still participate in and it reports up through their quality process.  Getting that data and trying to create a practice wide view is tricky if your practice straddles many sites.
