  • 1.  Phone APP for IR Call

    Posted 10 days ago

Does anyone know of an app that would allow us to set up a single contact number for the hospitals to reach the IR doc on call, and have the call be directed based on the call schedule?  Our current VOIP app requires the on call doc to remember to log in when their call shift starts, which they don't want to have to do.

    Appreciate any suggestions.

    Thanks!

    Dave

    Hey David,

We use Dialpad for this.  There are some nuances based on who owns the phone number, but it works well for us.  Happy to set up a call with our IT people to discuss if you are interested.

    Thanks,

    Dave,

Our doctors use Grasshopper. They can log in and out when they are on call. There is only one number to dial, and it goes to the IR who is on call. We use it for IR and NIR.

    Thank you!

David, we actually use our Interface engine to log the Radiologist in and out of the hunt group based on the qGenda schedule.  We are doing this with an Avaya IP Office and TelWare OneCloud VOIP system.  I would be glad to talk with you more about what we are doing if you are interested.  We use this solution for Multiple Hunt Groups; ED, MSK Call, IT Call, Calls to the Body Radiologists, we even have a dedicated number for our large Ortho group that will route to the Radiologists reading for them, all based on qGenda.

    Thank You,
