Our group had an interesting discussion this week about the best way to report non-critical incidental findings noted on preliminary reports to the Emergency Dept.
We are curious if there is a community standard in this regard? Does your group simply note the incidental finding in the report, call the ED, call the patient and/or some combination of these options?
