Good Morning Shannon and fellow RBMA Members,
I have been a member of RBMA for approximately 20 years and now have the privilege of lifetime membership status as I go into retirement. My membership in RBMA has played a huge part of my overall career success. I have served on the BOD and numerous committees over the years. Volunteering in the association has provided me with education, networking, knowledge, growth, opportunities, and lifetime friendships. It has helped me be a better radiology administrator and ultimately more valuable to the radiologists that I served.
When I walked into the general assembly meeting room at the most recent Las Vegas RBMA Paradigm I commented to one of my lifetime friends of all the new (and younger) faces I saw in the room. It was invigorating to see the participation of shown by all. I would like to encourage all of you who are now in radiology management at any level to consider volunteering on one of the associations committees. Get involved, make new friends from around the country, learn from others more experienced than yourselves, share what you know with others that are now learning what you learned. Help make the association and industry better as only you can! Your active involvement in RBMA will provide you with a lifetime of success and happiness.
Best Regards,
Steve

Subject: Call for Volunteers Open
Fellow RBMA Members,
The annual Call for Volunteers is now open. As RBMA president-elect, I'm personally asking you to take a moment to consider volunteerism with RBMA. The association is staffed by a small but mighty team of just 8 full-time staff members which makes volunteers integral to the continued success and advancement of RBMA.
Volunteering with RBMA is definitely not one-sided. What I've given in my time, knowledge and ideas, I've received back 10-fold in lifelong connections, career advancement and great friends!
Please take a moment to review the opportunities available for committee service, as well as our microvolunteer opportunities. If any interest you, follow the links to apply for service. The Call for Volunteers closes on Monday, Feb. 14.
If you have any questions, I invite you to reach out to myself or our staff team at membership@rbma.org.
Thanks for your consideration.
