    Good morning,

    We are working with an imaging center that is looking for recommendations for a cloud based PACS systems.

    Does anyone have any recommendations for a vendor?

    Cindy,

     

    We used eRAD PACS when we had our imaging center.  They had some great features that helped automate some of our workflow.  We hosted the server locally, but they do offer a cloud-based solution.  A couple of features that our referring providers liked were, the ability to view studies on a tablet (iPad or Android), and text message or email at a certain stage of the workflow (i.e., a text message when the exam is complete, and/or a message when the report is finalized).

     

    We still have eRAD PACS to use with any outside reading contracts that might come up.
