    I have two MD's on staff to cover GAD injections.

    Do the rules only allow an MD be present or can we use the services of a DO and stay in compliance?

    Bill,

    This is state/carrier specific.  There are often state regulations and then the MAC can have their own set of rules about not only the credentials but also the specialty of physician allowed.  You will want to check in your state and MAC.
