Our Georgia Medicaid claims are being denied when submitted with the Q6 modifier. Has anyone else had this issue. The manual states they should pay as long as the locum has a Ga. Medicaid provider number. But apparently the Q6 is not a payable modifier so therefore the claim denies. Medicaid states they are to meet in April regarding this. Anyone else having this issue and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
