Hello,
Our group is looking at implementing some sort of incentive payment for our after hours and overnight radiologists (we have 7 of them). They are employed radiologists at this time. We would prefer to avoid pure production based incentives because we feel it can threat quality and while we want fast efficient readers we don't want to push the envelope and have them going too fast. Does anyone have mechanisms in place to provide incentive pay for these types of rads? We aren't opposed to productivity being a component of the incentive package, but just not the only factor.
