  • 1.  Credentialing software--looking for recommendations

    Posted 04-15-2022 12:06
    Hello RMBA community,

I am currently vetting out options for credentialing software and would love to hear any feedback and product recommendations from you all. We have 30 rads and read for multiple states.

I recently had a demo with CredentialMyDoc and was quite impressed with the product. From what I could tell would check all the boxes and then some. We currently use their sister product HealthStream to facilitate our training needs and have no complaints or issues. Does anyone use this product or have experience with this vendor? Are there other products you would recommend? and why?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Brandi,

Great question. One of our credentialing experts had this to say:

I personally don't have experience with CredentialMyDoc or HealthStream. I used Echo OneApp from Verity and it was fine, just very manual (almost no options for any sort of automation) and didn't offer the level of insight or reporting that the other Verity products have. CredentialStream is the highest level, extremely insightful, and full of automation possibilities.

Hopefully that is helpful. Feel free to reach out with any other questions.

    Hi Brandi,

Our company has used CredentialMyDoc for a number of years now and we have been very happy with it! We love that you're able to track all of the credentialing information across multiple clients, states, and facilities all in one place. You can tie payers to different TINs, locations and physicians and also store numerous documents. Another great feature is that you're able to run many of the payer applications straight out of the program! This saves time so that you're only reviewing the application, not completely filling it out from scratch.

CMD also has many prebuilt reports or you can even create your own custom reports. One of the most useful ones we use is each week we get a list of everything that expires within the next month. Notifications can also be pushed out to the physicians from the program as well.

I'd be happy to share more with you if you'd like! The support team for CMD is also really great and can set up a free training and/or send you some videos to view on your own.

    Hope this helps!
