Hello Forum! I hope everyone had a great weekend.
I'm reaching out to see if anyone can point me in the direction of an exception or grace period for a provider who may be reading temporarily from a state or Medicare locality different from where the imaging services are being provided. We know if a provider lives in a different state full time we have to split Medicare charges and bill the TC and 26 to the appropriate MACs, but are curious if this holds true even if a provider is on vacation and reads from another states.
