The Congressional leadership discussions continue around both a COVID relief package and year-end federal funding bills. Our partner Shea McCarthy at Thorn Run Partners report this morning the following:
"Negotiations are still ongoing and it appears they may continue early into the weekend (at least). I've heard that discussions around a 3- or 4-day CR which would push the deadline into early next week. We may not see text until over the weekend."
Additionally our insider's are reporting that Congressional leaders have received the message loud and clear that there needs to be some "fix" to the cuts physicians face under the proposed EM revaluation set to implement 1/1/21. Talks now of, perhaps, a "flattening" of the proposed cuts over a period of years.
