RBMA submits comments to (CMS) regarding the Calendar Year (CY) 2019 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule Proposed Rule
The RBMA Federal Affairs Committee has drafted and submitted written comments to the Centers of Medicare and Medicare Service on:
Medicare Program; Revisions to Payment Policies under the Physician Fee Schedule and Other Revisions to Part B for CY 2019.
The Federal Affairs Committee chaired by Linda Wilgus of Northwest Radiology in Indianapolis, Indiana worked tirelessly over a 60-day period to address several issues of importance to the radiology industry. This included discussions RBMA partners such as the ACR, the eOrdering Coalition, AHRA, AQI and the Ultrasound Access Coalition.
The letter in its entirety can be viewed here. It was submitted electronically to CMS Administrator Seema Verma on Sept.10, 2018.
RBMA will continue to monitor the progress and discussion of the proposed rule with CMS expecting to release the final rule in late November.
