    Are routine OP MRI studies from Friday evening and the weekend turned around over the weekend or are they read Monday am? Thank you.

    Chris,

     

    Generally, we read them Monday morning, but recently (pre-Covid and now again that volumes have picked back up) the volume of OP MRI's has overwhelmed our sub-specialty worklists on Monday, mostly MSK.  So we have started some voluntary for-pay Sunday shifts to get a head start on these weekend MRI's and CT's.  So far so good.  Feel free to call if you would like to discuss.
