I am interested to know what other groups are doing for their QA process.  We currently use ACR's RadPeer for tracking, but we are looking to improve the process as a whole.

    Thanks!

Recently, we began using Primordial. The peer review data is still uploaded to RadPeer but Primordial's software is used to manage the program. It has allowed us to do anonymous reviews with automated case assignments daily to increase our overall percentage of reviews. Feel free to reach out with detailed questions.

We use the ACR Radpeer program too and provide reports to our hospital.  I recommend that you require each radiologist to submit ____ studies per month.  If it is purely voluntary, it is likely that only some radiologists will submit their data.

Furthermore, some doctors are reluctant to submit exams with a score of 3 or 4 that makes another radiologist look bad.  However, I advise my radiologists to submit some 3's and 4's so that the data is representative of our group.  It is important that the doctors learn from the 3's and 4's.

Our groups has a written policy on our Peer Review program. It calls for every radiologist to do reviews. It defines a peer review committee to review all 3's and 4's. We use the hospitals Primordial system to automate the reviews; however, because the hospital owns the system all 3's and 4's are sent to the committee on paper for review by the committee before the hospital is informed and the results recorded. If a case is down graded to a 1 or 2 nothing is reported. We keep records on all case reviewed and have stands to maintain. If a radiologist falls below a stand recommendations are made and enforced.

    James,

Could you share your written policy on peer review with the forum?  We use RADPEER but don't have a written policy and that may be a good thing for all groups to have available/in the file.

    Thanks,

I am interested to know how groups share "good cases?"
Is there an anonymous way to save imaging studies and prior studies and delete reports etc so that radiologists may share good cases and not know who read previous case?
Concepts like:   Guess what I almost missed? (or something similar)
Is there a way to make things anonymous so it is not discover able by anyone?

    Thank you,
