I think it means that both the performing facility and other external facilities can search and retrieve from an image archive that contains the study.

Subject: MIPS Measure 362
Good Morning Forum,
MIPS Measure 362 has the following description:
"Percentage of final reports for computed tomography (CT) studies performed for all patients, regardless of age, which document that Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) format image data are available to non-affiliated external healthcare facilities or entities on a secure, media free, reciprocally searchable basis with patient authorization for at least a 12-month period after the study"
I believe our hospital might meet this requirements except that we are uncertain about "reciprocally searchable". I don't think any of us really understand what that means, and I haven't been able to find an answer so far. Anyone have any thoughts on it?
