I am hoping to get some information from others on their experience with this subject. Our group's attorney recently expressed concern about the malpractice coverage relative to our nighthawk provider and what would happen if a claim were brought and our group was named. Clearly the radiologist would have coverage under the nighthawks malpractice policy but who would cover the group? We brought it to our broker who talked with our malpractice company and they are telling us we need to add vicarious liability coverage for our nighthawk provider. The price tag is high! I have been in radiology for a long time and i have never seen nor heard of this relative to nighthawk. It would be my assumption the corporate policy we already pay for would cover us. Has anyone seen this or had experience with this? Open to any thoughts. Thank you.
