  • 1.  PACS or RIS driven workflows

    ​Our practice has a PACS driven workflow.  We would like to know what other groups are using.  It would be much appreciated if you could share whether your group uses a PACS driven or RIS driven workflow?

    We have EPIC and SECTRA PACS and our group chose to stay with PACS driven workflow.  We discussed switching to an EPIC driven workflow but the worklist configurations were much more robust in staying with PACS driven.

    We use McKesson PACS and installed Epic about two years ago. The plan was to move from a PACS to a RIS driven workflow. Although radiologists can now use either, most have stayed with PACS.
