Practice Management

I have been on the phone several times with TMHP in an effort to unify the denial code used for this particular denial.  They are telling me that it will either be 701 or 420- neither of which properly reflects the issue of referring MD not being registered/enrolled.  Anyone have a suggestion?

The rep from the TMHP indicated that these codes are set by the HHC.  Anyone have a contact at the HHC so we can petition for a specific code for use by all plans?
