I am seeking information about running a successful IR Clinic. We have had an IR Clinic for 10+ years, but have recently invested in a "more formal" storefront and are looking to expand upon the traditional office visit and very minor procedures we offer. I am specifically interested in hearing from leaders who have successfully implemented IR Clinic's in their practice. Questions:
- How many IR Docs see patients in clinic?
- What services do you offer in clinic? E&M only or also procedures?
- How many mid levels do you employ?
- How many other non MD, non Mid Level employees (ie, how many nurses or techs)
- How many non clinical support personnel and what are their roles?
- Any other words of wisdom?
