Our tail policy matches yours, other than if term for breach, the radiologist funds it too. We do have an earn in provision, that passes the tail cost after XX years from employee responsibility to practice responsibility. I know some groups are providing nose coverage on hire, but am also aware that this is a risky strategy and every time we have looked at it, we decide against. RBMA last surveyed on this topic in 2014 (I think.) Hot topics don't appear to be searchable on the RBMA website.

Just checking to see what everyone is doing with tail coverage these days. If the group terms the physician, our group pics up the coverage. If the employee voluntarily terms, they are responsible for the tail. Is this consistent with what others are doing? Also, when hiring, have groups agreed to pick up the new hires tail?
