Last Thursday the Payor Relations Committee met and discussed the issue of timely filing during these times.  We agreed to draft a letter to be sent to the National Association of Insurance Commissioners and state insurance commissioners asking for relief from timely filing issues.  

That is in process.  

Any data the members can add to this letter would be welcome.

Thanks Bob - in these discussions please don't forget to specifically call out appeal deadlines as well - some payers have differing deadlines for initial claims vs. appeals.
