  • 1.  MIPS participation attestation deadline

    Does anyone know when the deadline to attest has been extended to?  We have had no respond from our contacts at the ACR, The Portal is not ready....Help! We couldn't of possibly missed any notices..

    The deadline is March 31st.

    I share your concerns with the ACR QCDR.... it's a bit worrisome that group attestation is not ready, and communication to users (other than during webinars) is pretty much non-existent.

    You can also attest by creating an EIDM account at the CMS portal, link to your practice, then use the QPP website to attest.  This has worked very well in the scenario where you are using claims-based reporting of MIPS measures (individual) along with applicable CPIA attestations via the website.

    The attestation is for practice improvement activities.  If you did one or more, you have to attest to get credit.

    Even if you are reporting MIPS quality measures via claims-based reporting, you still have to attest to completing the appropriate quantity/type of practice improvement activities.

    And don't forget to check your Special Status to make sure you are exempt from reporting ACI.  If you are required to report ACI, that also requires an attestation.

     

    As you are probably aware, most rads are exempt but I thought I would mention this.
