Thank you for your reply. Our attorney has taken the position that FMLA does not apply to our partners because they are key employees, therefore we are eligible to use the key employee exemption from FMLA. We work to move the schedule around and people will cover for the new dad, but we have no formal amount of time that we grant him and some of the younger father's are questioning this.
Do you make them use vacation time?
