    Good afternoon,

    Our practice is seeking information regarding ultrasound image archival.  Does anyone know if there are specific federal regulations on the amount of time images must be stored?

    Ashley – These would be classified just as nay other medical record. Check your state statute to be certain. Most are 7 years for adults and 7 years after the age of majority for pediatric patients.....
