    Members:

RBMA has developed a grassroots campaign to fight the proposed EM coding revaluation  that is driving a Medicare 11% cut to radiology in 2021.  As part of this efforts we are working in several key states to draft op-ed pieces driving our position.   The first op-ed piece appeared nationally on CNN.com today!  Here is a link and feel free to pass onto your Member of Congress and US Senator.  Thank you Dr. Michael Ulissey and Kit Crancer of CDI.

Opinion: Cuts to Medicare services would be disastrous for the country

    Dear Anthony,

You may have received an email from "bob.still@rbma.org" with a request to access a secure link. We ask that you DO NOT OPEN this message or click on the links as this email and the associated contact list have been hacked.

Our IT management has conducted a thorough sweep of our systems and database and there is no indication that member details were accessed. Although we maintain controls to help protect our networks and computers from this type of attack, with the quickly changing attack scenarios, breaches can sometimes occur – we apologize for any inconvenience.

A friendly reminder, the most common way ransomware enters corporate networks is through email. Often, scammers will include malicious links or attachments in emails that look harmless. To avoid this trap, please observe the following email best practices:

    • Do not click on links or attachments from senders that you do not recognize. Be especially wary of .zip or other compressed or executable file types.
    • Do not provide sensitive personal information (like usernames and passwords) over email.
    • Watch for email senders that use suspicious or misleading domain names.
    • If you can't tell if an email is legitimate or not, please contact us at info@rbma.org
    • Be especially cautious when opening attachments or clicking links if you receive an email containing a warning banner indicating that it originated from an external source.

Thank you for taking the time to read through this. RBMA remains vigilant in keeping your data safe and secure.
