Radiology PA Job Description

    Good morning, 
    We are adding a PA to our practice and one of the hospitals is requiring a  Radiology PA job description prior to the credentialing committee mtg. Would anyone have a radiology PA job description they would be willing to share?

    Stan,

    That is a good question and I will research. It did nit come up in the credentialing process. The one that just joined is and RT and a PA.

    A PA that is an RT should not be a problem, but each state is different in their requirements.

    I'm not aware of any states that have such requirements for a PA or an NP, but they might for an RA or RPA....

    Colorado has a proficiency requirement, that they have not yet defined(!), if they will do flourish etc.

    I took it to mean that if Colorado developed these, then other states would likely follow- aka flourish LOL  This speaks to our need to read carefully.
