  • 1.  Coder Productivity

    We are wanting to do some coder productivity comparisons and analysis against other practices and would like to find out how other practices are measuring productivity and what their standards are.  Of course they will differ by practice and by systems used but we are just looking for some ballpark figures.

     

    Any input will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Jeeny,

    We use an online coding platforr however it is not NLP, and our coders must key the CPT and ICD-10 codes. 

    We average 110-130 reports per hour depending on the coder and the reports.

    We use an NLP online coding platform. It is all diagnostic radiology (no IR) and my coder averaged 136.8 reports per hour for the 1st quarter of 2018.
