Are any of you that are on Imagine currently receiving reports from an HCA hospital?  We are trying to get our local HCA hospital to allow us to get the documents into Imagine via an HL7 interface.  They say they don't provide HL7 and that all they can offer is a PDF or their "HUB" which is Medcity.  We currently receive them via PDF files which don't work well with Imagine.  We're trying to find out if anyone on Imagine has already accomplished this.

    Any feedback is appreciated.

Ugly but we have the same issues.  Dignity for example wanted to charge $60K for an HL7 interface.  Crazy.

    Billie,

Per my IT Manager (who's translating what we were getting) he says to ask them for an HL7 flat file drop – we have/had 2 HMA hospitals, and they dropped ADT and ORU files for both via a WS_FTP Server Web Transfer Client. While we had to log on to pick up the files daily (no automation via the Appliance that would work with this) we had no issues with those.

Holler if you need more information!
