    Would anyone be able to recommend a trustworthy billing consultation firm? We perform all of our billing services in house and have no interest in changing that. However, I'd like to bring someone in to perform an audit and make sure we're running a tight department.

    I've used Precision Healthcare Management out of Media, PA (www.consultphm.com) and found them knowledgeable, objective, and very easy to work with.  I've also heard great things about the Fremer Group (fremergroup.com) from some of my colleagues in other practices.

    Lee,

    I would highly recommend Tom Aug from Development Partners in Healthcare (www.mydevelopmentpartners.com).  They are unbiased and unaffiliated with an outsource RCM company, which is important when obtaining an external billing audit!!!
