We were recently asked by one of the hospital CMO's to name a daily metric that could be used for the daily safety huddles that the radiology director attends.  The goal was to move from safety huddles to a more highly reliable organization and create a metric to report on safety.  Access to first available CT study for inpatient was one example.

I know radiologists don't typically attend these daily safety briefings, but any thoughts about what would benefit the radiology department and improve patient safety AND could be measured daily?
