    Good morning,

Is there any facility considering using the newly approved Fresenius Kabi Iodixanol Injection (generic Visipaque if I understand correctly)?  I am assuming this would still be considered a low osmolar contrast HCPC code (Q9965-Q9967) as Medicare does not distinguish between low osmolar and iso-osmolar per comments made in 2005-(if anyone has a more updated reference please let me know).  I am unable to find any specific reference to the Fresenius Kabi, other than it being referred to as a Visipaque generic.

    Regards,

    Trina
