Good morning,
To those that are located in GA, how do you interpret Bill ID GA HB 315?
Is this saying diagnostic/screening breast cancer exams (breast ultrasounds, MRIs, and diagnostic mammograms) should not have any cost-sharing to the patient, like screening mammograms?
Per the bill – Section 45 (b)
"A health benefit policy that provides coverage for diagnostic examinations for breast cancer shall include provisions that ensure that the cost-sharing requirements applicable to diagnostic and supplemental breast screening examinations are no less favorable than the cost-sharing requirements applicable to screening mammography for breast cancer."
