All of you on this forum no doubt are aware that on Friday, the US Food and Drug Administration unveiled major new changes to its mammography quality standards regulations to be effective in September 2024. The headlines in major media outlets have related to a new mandate that mammography reports to patients contain information about their breast density. But the FDA is making considerably more changes to improve the quality of communications about breast imaging findings.
