We are in the same boat implementing a unified worklist. However, in our situation we ended up hiring our own personnel. Between the complexity of the PACS and dictation systems, the number of various hospital partners, the impact on revenue cycle reporting, and the need to control response time for radiologists, we opted for investing in our own team.
If you find an outsourced support that works well, I would be interested to know. If nothing else, some help in the IT call pool would be good to have in our back pocket.
