  • 1.  Outsourcing Coding

    Looking for advice/feedback from practices that have experience in outsourcing coding for the professional component.  Our private practice group has always taken care of the billing and coding internally but due to some recent growth and practice changes we are falling behind and need assistance temporarily and maybe long term as supplemental assistance.  Does anyone have experience outsourcing outside of the U.S.?
    Very interested in hearing any feedback.  If anyone can share opinions about specific companies, please email me.

    We have used HealthPro for IR CPT and ICD-10 coding (3 years now).  They do bi-annual coding audits as well.  Pretty fair prices.

     

    We use them for a backup to our onsite coder who codes all diagnostic CPT and ICD-10.  If they are on vacation or sick, or if we had an event with turnover, they step in so we maintain our times getting claims out the door.
