WPS just announced a Proposed LCD for the J5/J8 region covering states FFS Medicare Part B claims for Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Indiana, and Michigan. This proposal was developed based on an LCD request for coverage for Quantitative Coronary Plaque Analysis (QCPA) using Artificial Intelligence Enabled CT Based Quantitative Coronary Topography (AI-QCT)/Coronary Plaque Analysis (AI-CPA).
This would be a post-processing add-on used to analyze coronary plaques using an AI-enhanced analytic platform.
