Good Afternoon,
We have heard some practices are getting some relatively small CMS payments (various MACS) that are indicating "BN" bonus payments. The PLB Reason Code states "BN" and under the glossary it states "See 2.2.10, Capitation and Related Payments or Adjustments, for additional information. They are tied to an EIN and NPI.
We would love to connect with anyone who has additional information on what these checks are for.
