    I would like to see who might be considering this new NM isotope for PET/CT Endocrine Tumors. It becomes effective 4/1/21.

    Name is Dotectnet (dototate injection) 1 millicurie.

     

    A9592 CU64

    C9068 CU64 (outpatient hospital)

     

    If so, any information you can share about reimbursement would be greatly appreciated.  ASP? Anything at all.

    We started in January and we know Indiana Medicaid does not pay for it.  We are still waiting on Medicare reimbursement as well as Anthem.

    We are waiting until after April 1st when CMS has a permanent HCPCS code for this isotope.  I have attached the press release regarding this.  This will replace some of the procedures being done in nuc med currently when evaluating neuroendocrine tumors.

     

    We have also been doing Axumin (Fluciclovine) PET / CT for potential recurrent Prostate Cancer since last fall.  We have had good success with getting payment on that isotope which is extremely expensive per dose as is the one listed above.  Just throwing that out if anyone is interested in discussing our experience.
