For our practice the collections process is an important part of our revenue cycle (large trauma center and ER volume), but we don't want to lose sight of the current unprecedented realities. Our collection agency is taking a "very soft approach" and has previously been given authority for settlement thresholds.
Has anyone given new or special instructions to their 3rd party collection agency during this time? If so, would you be willing to share?
