Hi Linda,
We've had similar discussions as a group, considering a new telerad service for the same scenarios. Our current telerad provider provided a high level update on their situation, as we've seen poor performance on their end in regard to report turnaround time, availability, etc. Their update indicated that there is an industry wide issue with increase in volume coupled with summer vacation time and the shortage of Radiologists. It all made sense given our experiences locally as well.
I'd be curious to hear what others are experiencing as well.
