Good morning.
We are a small, hospital based private practice struggling to hire and keep up with our work like so many other groups out there. We employ a few telerads who help us with nights and weekends but have found that their drive to work hard is not the same as those onsite. We have been salary based for years but are considering a move to an RVU based incentive plan for the telerads. The problem is, I cannot find resources to help with the details of this kind of structure. I understand the big picture concept of how it would work, but the actual execution of making it work is new to me. Can anyone direct me to information that will help me learn how this works and how to get it started? I will be relying on information provided by our billing company at the end of each month as opposed to daily information from the hospital. I foresee this as a potential issue but am not sure. If you have suggestions on other types of incentive plans, besides RVU based plans, I welcome the ideas.
Thank you very much!
Linda
