CMS released the 2022 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule Final Rule yesterday. As expected, there will be cuts to the physician fee schedule that will total nearly 3.75%. CMS is also following through with the proposal to not begin the penalty phase of AUC/CDS until the later of 1/1/23 or once year after the end of the pandemic public health emergency.
