Could anyone provide guidance on Official reading of outside images reimbursement? The large Health System that our private practice reads for receives a large number of traumas transferred from smaller communities where patients have already had their CT scans and etc. The surgeons are requesting an official read on these images upon transfer. Is my only option to place a modifier 77 and hope for the best?
Anyone dealing with the same concern?
