    Does anyone have a service contract for a radiologist that reads remotely for your group that you are willing to share?

    Our group is located in MO.  However, we currently have one radiologist who lives in TX and one who lives in KS.  Both work remotely and exclusively for our group.  Previously, we had a radiologist who lived in WY but he recently retired. 

    All of our doctors signed a normal employment agreement just like our local radiologists.  The primary difference was billing to a different Medicare intermediary and occasionally explaining to patients that the doctor reads remotely.  Some patients thought it was fraudulent when another state's Medicare intermediary was involved and the patient knew they had  radiological services in MO.
