I have a couple of questions relating to cardiology imaging.

    1. Are there any groups where the cardiologists are reading CTAs (not coronary) without radiologist involvement or are the radiologist involved.
    2.  Also, on TAVRs, who is doing the measurements?  Is it the cardiologists, radiologists or Third party?

If you want to discuss off line, please call or email me privately.

    Thanks!

Hi Shelby.  Our group reads the extracardiac portion and bills the hospital as the cardiologists are employed by health system.  We used to do the TAVR measurements but stopped as the cardiologists were sending out to third party anyways and that was what they used.
