Medicare claims require Interpretation Location in Box 32. Novitas has not been requiring an NPI in Box 32a however we are getting secondary Medicaid payers who state this field must be completed to process our claim. My question is, what NPI should be used in this field. We are entering the address where the radiologist is reading the study (a hospital facility address). Do we use out NPI or the hospital's?
