  • 1.  Practice owned equipment insurance coverage

    Hello all, 

    I am hoping someone would be willing to discuss how they insure their equipment in their private practice.  

    Do you place your imaging equipment in your "package" insurance under business property, or do you have them listed on what is called "inland marine" insurance?  How has your insurance agent recommended and how have you placed coverage on your high-end expensive equipment compared to your other business property?  Mammo, ultrasound, CT, MRI, etc. 

    I have conflicting information and curious what others are doing.  

    Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

    Package under Business property broken out by each piece of equipment via replacement value.
