Hi Beth - Pulling salary data together for our NP's as well as performance evaluations tied to annual salary increases. I know this post is old but I see you've used NP's for quite some time in your practice and I have a few questions if you wouldn't mind to speak offline?
Thank you,
Jennifer

Subject: IR PA's E&M billing and PA salaries
We have used IR NP and PAs for more than a decade. It augments IR labor and is break even if a really fast PA. It helps IR practice at top of license. I always build in at least 90 days of no revenue for them as the training and proctoring time is lengthy before they can practice solo. Membership in SIR beneficial for CME. Also as David said, you have to develop the fluoro and US training tools.
We find that PAs have more clinical time in their training usually and are faster to get to solo practice than NP. We also find that PA or NP with surgical background are more likely to find job satisfaction as they prefer procedures to long term relationship with patient.
Good luck
