Hi Keith, there are a lot of factors to consider. If you are low volume most PACS have the ability to burn one-off CD's from just about any PC with a CD burner and you write the info on the disk. If you are after automated I suggest Media Writer from Hyland Software (formerly PACSGear/Lexmark). It can hand both CD's and DVD's (if you need to burn 3D mammo you will need DVD capability). There are others but we currently use this unit and it is very reliable and is loaded with both CD's and DVD's and will choose the disk based on the size of the study being burned. Hyland has a whole host of PACS add-on's and image sharing capabilities as well. https://www.hyland.com/en/healthcare/enterprise-imaging/pacsgear
